The New York Sportbike Club (NYSBC)

The New York Sportbike Club was formed in 2002. It was started with the hopes that this situation would give tri-state sport bike riders a chance to get some track riding experience in an exhilarating yet safe and controlled manner. The club was founded by enthusiasts such as yourself. The organizers are a group of former members and control riders who banded together with the mission to create a worthwhile club environment for sportbike riders. The organizers are committed to the needs and desires of all of the club members. From the onset to the present day, it is the understanding that a NYSBC track day should be experienced with a relaxed and open attitude, should be safe for all riders, and should - above all else - be fun. An open door policy is always in affect when it comes to listening to the comments and suggestions of our members. The NYSBC wants its members to know that the club exists for the benefit of its members and the promotion of safe track riding. NYSBC members come first. A positive experience at a track day will greatly enhance a sportrider's ability to ride safely within the performance envelope of his or her machine. "One good track day is worth a whole summer of street riding."

This season the NYSBC has set up a very solid schedule with twelve track events. Most of our track events will be held a the new New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, NJ. This new facility is second to none when it comes to having exciting road courses. NJMP offers two world class race courses named the “Lightning raceway” and the “Thunderbolt raceway”. If you have not yet come to a track event at this facility you really should make plans to do so. Note, everyone really likes this new facility, so make your reservations well in advance because spots will fill at least a month in advance. The club will be hosting several weekend events and this should make it easier for some of our members that have trouble getting off weekdays from work. However, the weekend days are normally the dates that fill first.
